A new series

I’m working on a new series of pieces that are mixed media with watercolor, thread, and/or soft pastel chalk. The series feels exciting and real to me. I have one piece at the NCHM. The frame on the second piece broke and I think it was a sign that the piece wasn’t actually finished.

Make it stand out

This is the back of one of the pieces. I’m obsessed with documenting the back side of the stitching that I’m doing on my paintings. I’m working on creating a specialized frame that will allow one to see both the back and front of my art.
