Inspired by reading…

I’ve been inspired by a few different things I’ve been reading lately. The most direct is the book Below the Edge of Darkness by Edith Widder, Ph.D. It led to my fish prints that you see in the photos.

I’ve also been inspired by a re-reading of This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal el-Mothar & Max Gladstone. I started doodling illustrations for this one but it has mostly resulted in me being even more cemented in the idea of continuing incorporating thread/stitching in my paintings.

I’m also reading The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows by John Koenig which just fills my mind and allows thoughts to fractalize and blossom.
